The Wanderings of an African Child: 6 Wierd things about Anna E Meiners

Rinnie, my sister, once tagged me to share 6 wierd things about myself. As this is my first entry on this new blog I figured that I should share a little about who I am, and what better to share than what is wierd about me. These are in no particular order, ie: number 1 isnt necessarily the wierdest thing about me. So... here I go:

1. I over annunciate my "T's". For instance when most people say things like "kitty", it sounds more like "kiddy". with me, it is "KiTTy". Hard to explain on paper, but my good friends make fun of me a lot for it. Here is another example... "Mountain" is usually pronounced "Mountn" and the T is hardly noticable. When I say it, "Mounttttain".

2. I listen to the radio on even volumes. Yes, I know this is wierd, but it drives me crazy to have the volume set on 17 or 23.... it has to be 18 or 22 or some other even number. If someone else changes my volume and doesnt put it on an even number, I have to change it.

3. I eat things in two's. If you were to hand me three skittles, I would have to hand one back. The problem is that I couldn't just descretely drop it or something like that, because yet another quirk requires that if I drop something like a skittle, I have to drop another one. and if I did that I would still be left with one in my hand, so, please dont give me three skittles because I wont know what to do with it :)

4. I listen to the same songs over and over. Yup, I have been known to get a song on iTunes that I really like and just put it on repeat. The thing is that I dont even realize that I am stilll listening to the same song, even if it is half an hour later, I could still be listening to it, without even realizing it. Most of my friends and family despise this quirk of mine :)

5. Like my sister Rinnie, I have a deep love for tomatoes. To the point where I will eat two or three a day. LOVE EM!!

6. I have a mexican man living inside of me.
